Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our page! We’re excited that you’re here. Let me start by introducing ourselves. Lonestar Labradors is owned and operated by myself, Courtney. We are a small breeder located in Brooksville, FL, where we reside on 3 acres. My love for animals started at a very young age. My childhood dream job was to be an Equine Veterinarian. When that didn’t work out, I manifested other ways to be able to work around animals. I grew up with Retriever’s and fell in love with their drive, passion to love life and willingness to please. Labradors are extremely versatile, pleasing, free spirited and great well rounded dogs. All of our program dogs are genetic tested through Embark along with OFA’s of hips, elbows, eyes and heart clearances when of age appropriate. Our dogs health is a top priority and we work closely with Silverthorn Animal Clinic located in Spring Hill, FL and Animal Clinic Of Citra located in in Citra, FL to ensure all of our dogs are at their best health during their breeding career. Our goal, is to not only better the breed, but preserve the multipurpose of Labrador Retrievers. We only breed bench bred/show line Labradors, with colors varying between all of the AKC recognized colors which are black, yellow and chocolate. All of our puppies are sold on AKC limited registration (no breeding rights) for $3,000. A deposit of $500 is required to guarantee a spot on our waitlist for a puppy. If you have any further questions feel free to reach out to us! We look forward to providing you your next furever family member!
All of our dogs are our family members first. They live in our home with us, where they lay in our bed and couches getting cuddles and belly scratches. They have access to roam our home and yard freely.
All of our puppies are raised in our home. We start desensitizing our puppies using ENS, ENI and puppy culture methods. We start by day 3 introducing different scents, sounds and textures. We introduce crate and potty training by week 6. We strive for well rounded puppies to make the transition process for puppies and their new families as smooth as possible by the time they go to their new home.
